The DEBATE (MONOTHEISM):
I hereby take the honour of asking some questions first before we enter the Debate as I would like our viewers to be in a better comfort and an ease of mind. We all share the same framework in whichever belief system we follow this framework is the belief and understanding of who the Almighty is and therefore I have the following questions, you can simply answer yes if you agree.
Do you agree if I say:
1 The Almighty is the Most High and Most Holy?
2 The One who is the Almighty is our Lord the Creator, Cherisher and Sustainer of the Worlds?
3 The Almighty is the Sole Owner of all the Most Beautiful Names, Attributes/ Titles? (meaning I nor you or any of his creation can call or take name to any of His Attributes for example “Creator, Lord, Almighty etc…” we can not call ourselves any of these do you agree?
4 The Almighty is (The Incomparably Great) meaning He can not be compared to His creation for example a Rock, Statues “Idols”, the sun, the moon etc…
This is who the Almighty is. Am I correct by saying this do you agree?
I am sure you will agree to all the above because this is the framework of religion for one to even call it religion because it is all about the Almighty and people of all walks of life would agree to this no matter which belief system you follow.
It is without a doubt that all the Holy Scriptures calls mankind to Monotheism “the belief in the Oneness of the Almighty” but not all people follow this Monotheism and many practise something other then the religion which is in the Holy Scriptures that they claim to follow. The Torah is Monotheistic but not all Jews are Monotheists, The Bible is Monotheistic but Christianity is Not Monotheistic, the Hindu Scriptures are Monotheistic but Hinduism is Not Monotheistic, the Holy Quran is Monotheistic and unlike others all Muslims are Monotheists and believe firmly in the Oneness of the Almighty Allah.
Your answer to my questions would be highly appreciated.
Your Brethren,
Al-Faarooq
Alfaarooq’s Debate on Christianity’s claim to being Monotheistic:
Allah The One (Allahu Ahad) Shema Yisrael Shahada
Shema Yisrael “Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our Ilah (Deity)! The LORD is One! There’s No Ilah (Deity) worthy of Worship besides Allah alone”
Al-Quran Surah 2:163 “Your Ilah (Deity/ Lord) is One; there is none but Him, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful”
The Almighty Allah says “There is nothing like unto Him (Allah)” (Quran 42:11). Monotheism is the faith in the fact of the Oneness of the Almighty to which no partner, helper(s) are needed; all that be (exists) is by command of His will, the Almighty Allah is the Sole Owner of all the Most High, Most Holy and Most Beautiful Names (Attributes/ Titles). What sets the Almighty Allah apart from the false deities which some among mankind had attributed to Him is His Divine Attributes, He Allah Himself says that He is The One, and that He is Incomparably Great which is but one of His Most outstanding Titles, the Holy Scriptures (Torah, Bible, Quran and all His revelations prior to them) confirms His Oneness and Supreme Status. From this we can understand that nothing of the creation can be compared to the Almighty Allah, nor does Allah resemble the creation. He is Incomparably Great as confirmed by His commandments for He can not be compared to His creation, for example He can not be compared to: a rock or Idol, the moon, the sun, stars, us humans (male, female), He is not a father nor a mother etc…, He has no penis or virgina and is not in need of having such either because He is not in need of using a toilet since He is free from need, nor does He have any need for sexual relations or eating food to sustain Himself. The Almighty Allah is One, Self sufficient and free of need, this is who He is.
The Almighty Allah says in The Holy Quran:
Say, “He is Allah, The One. Allah, The Eternal, Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten, and there is none like Him.” (Quran, 112:1-4)
The Holy Bible & Torah confirms this:
• “Moses replied, “It will be as you say, so that you may know there is no one like the LORD our Ilah (The Only Deity Allah).” (Exodus 8:10)
• “You were shown these things so that you might know that the LORD is Allah; besides him there is no other.” (Deuteronomy 4:35)
• “How great you are, O Sovereign LORD! There is no one like you, and there is no (Ilah) Deity but you, as we have heard with our own ears.” (2 Samuel 7:22)
• “Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the LORD is Allah in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other.” (Deuteronomy 4:39)
• “There is no Lord besides Me. I put to death and I bring to life, I have wounded and I will heal, and no one can deliver out of my hand.” (Deuteronomy 32:39)
• “There is no one like you, O LORD, and there is no Deity but you, as we have heard with our own ears.” (1 Chronicles 17:20)
• “Allah is One.” (Galatians 3:20)
Further, the Bible relates how Allah reacts if a person were to worship other than Him the One and Only, He Allah says: “You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your Allah, am a jealous Ilah (Deity)…” (Exodus 20:5). Taken strictly from a Biblical perspective, Allah is One and worship ought to be directed to Him alone.
Say, “He is Allah, The One. Allah, The Eternal, Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten, and there is none like Him.” (Quran, 112:1-4)
With regards to the Christian Trinity, the three-unit God-head is not named in the Bible anywhere. In fact, the Oneness of Allah is emphasized time and time again. And, that none is to be worshipped except the One Allah.
The Almighty Allah says in The Holy Quran:
171. O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion nor utter aught (Fabrication) concerning Allah but the truth. The
Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah, and His word which He conveyed unto Mary, and a spirit from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers, and say not “Three”. Cease! (it is) better for you! Allah is only One
Lord. Surah 4. An-Nisaa
Al Quran Surah 61 As Saff
6. And when Jesus son of Mary said: O Children of Israel! Lo! I am the messenger of Allah unto you, confirming that which was (revealed) before me in the Torah, and bringing good tidings of a messenger who cometh after me, whose name is the Praised One. Yet when be hath come unto them with clear proofs, they say: This is mere magic.
7. And who doth greater wrong than he who inventeth a lie against Allah when he is summoned unto Al Islaam.
Bible John 14:16
Jesus said: “And I will pray the Father (Creator), and he shall give you another Comforter (Prophet Mohammed Sallallahu Alaihi Wa’salaam), that he may abide with you forever.”
Bible John 15:26
Jesus said: “But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father (Allah the Creator), even the Spirit of truth (Mohammed), which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.”
Bible John 16:12-14
Jesus said: “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you”.
Bible John 16:12-14
Jesus said: “I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth (Mohammed) is come, he will guide you unto all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me”.
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) did testify for him Isa (Jesus the son of Mary) as being the Messiah, Mohammed Sallallahu Alahi Wa’salaam is mentioned by name in the Song of Solomon chapter 5 verse 16: Hebrew Languare:
“Hikko Mamittakim we kullo Muhammadim Zehdoodeh wa Zehraee Bayna Jerusalem.”
Translation: “His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is Mohammed. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.”
Now lets look at Isa (Jesus the son of Mary) preach the Oneness and the Will of Allah:
He (Jesus the son of Mary) says:
The WORD (Message)
“Jesus answered them and said, ‘My doctrine is not mine, but His Who sent me.’” [John 7:16]
“He who does not love me does not keep my words; and the Word (message) which you hear is not mine but the Father’s (Creator) Who sent me.” [John 14:24]
“For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father (Creator) Who sent me gave me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.” [John 12:49]
The WILL==>
“Jesus said to them, ‘My food is to do the will of Him Who sent me, and to accomplish His work.’” [John 4:34]
“For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of Him Who sent me.” [John 6:38]
“…saying, ‘Father (Creator), if it is Your will, take this cup away from me; nevertheless not my will, but Yours, be done.’” [Luke 22:42]
The POWER==>
“I can of myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and my judgment is righteous, because I do not seek my own will but the will of the Father (Creator) Who sent me.” [John 5:30]
“I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one Who sent him.” [John 13:16]
“You heard me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you’. If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father (Creator), for the Father (Creator) is greater than I” [John 14:28]
“Jesus said to them, ‘If Allah were your Father (Creator), you would love me, for I proceeded and came forth from Allah; I came not of my own accord, but He sent me.’” [John 8:42]
“To sit at my right hand and at my left is not mine to grant, but it is for those for whom it has been prepared by my Father (Creator).” [Matthew 20:23]
The KNOWLEDGE==>
“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the son (servant), but only the Father (Creator).” [Mark 13:32]
“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father (Creator) only.” [Matthew 24:36]
“So Jesus answered them, ‘My teaching is not mine, but His Who sent me.’” [John 7:16]
The STATUS==>
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord’, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father (Creator) in heaven.” [Matthew 7:21]
“And the Father (Creator) Himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His shape.” [John 5:37]
“And Jesus said to him, ‘Why do you call me good? No one is good but Allah alone.’” [Mark 10:18]
“And I do not seek my own glory; there is One Who seeks and judges.” [John 8:50]
Some Christians (though not all) claim that Jesus (p) implied that he was a Deity from the above verses – we see clearly that Jesus (p) denied being Deity. The Deity of Abraham in the Old Testament stated “I am Allah” over 200 times, yet (oddly) Jesus (p) never uttered those three words once in the Gospel. So we see from the many verses above that the House did not belong to Jesus (p), it belonged to the One Who sent him.
Matthew 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, Allah: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments (Submit to the will of Allah).
Mark 16:19 So then after the lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of Allah.
John 8:40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of Allah.
John 14:28 My Father (Creator) is greater than I.
John 20:17 I ascend unto my Father (Creator), and your Father (Creator); and to my Lord, and your Lord.
Acts 17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
1 Corinthians 11:3 The head (boss) of Christ is Allah.
1 Corinthians 15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto Him(All people come to Islaam), then shall the son (servant) also himself be subject (questioned) unto Him that put all things under Him, that Allah may be all in all.
Colossians 3:1 Christ sitteth on the right hand of Allah.
“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. . . .
“But you have no idea where I come from or where I am going. . .You do not know me or my Father (Creator). . .I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am the one I claim to be (The Messiah, servant of Allah), you will indeed die in your sins.”
“. . .Even as He spoke, many put their faith in him. To [them] Jesus said, ‘If you hold to my teaching (Submission to the will of Allah), you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’”
Muslims believe in Jesus peace be upon him, we believe in the Gospels he preached (Injeel) and we accept him for who he said he is the Messiah a servant of Allah, Mohammed peace be upon him is the Prophet Jesus son of Mary Prophesied to come after him who would testify for him and call the world to Total submission to the will of Allah.
Jesus peace be upon him explicitly stated he was the (son) servant of Allah just as all Prophets are the sons (servants) of Allah, He never said people must praise him nor does he ever say that he is a Deity or part Deity, not from any of the Biblical readings does Jesus the son of Mary say he is divine. The only references Jesus the son of Mary himself gives to this are in situations where he refers to being a (son) servant of Allah… as we all are. The followers of Jesus peace be upon him are not Christian but Muslim, they walked the earth with him but never thought to worship him. It wasn’t until he was no longer physically present that his enemy reported having been visited in a dream by the Anti-Christ a Demon posing to be Jesus who told him to change his name from Saul to Paul and spread the Baatil (Fabricated) word of the “new” doctrine. During the lifetime of Jesus peace be upon him there were no Christians on earth. Jesus’ words to his followers while approaching his demise was “do not teach to the gentiles.” Saul, leader of the gentiles immediately changed that with his “delusional dream.” The next question Christians must ask themselves is, who would have been an authority on Jesus at the time? The answer, Barnabas the scribe. Specifically the scribe of Jesus. He wrote as Jesus walked. Why was his gospel one of the many books of the bible removed at the council of Nicaea (and others like it)? Read the Gospel of Barnabas and you will know why instantaneously! Enjoy your journey in submission to the will of Allah.
Learn not just to know but learn to understand:
The Bible is compiled in the following way:
1 the Word of Allah,
2 the Sunnah (Sayings and Practices of the Prophet of the appointed time)
3 Tafseer (Commentary) which is mans own attempted interpretation to explain the Word (Message)
The Holy Quran is fully the Word of Allah.
In Islaam the Sunnah of the Prophet and various Tafsir (Commentary) are all recorded in separate books.
Here you can clearly see the difference so judge for yourself. Now who’s the Liar? Jesus or Paul? Do you choose what Paul says or what Jesus the son of Mary himself tells you to do?
Islaam means Total Submission to the will of Allah
Muslim means one who submits to the will of the Almighty Allah
Alfaarooq’s Debate on Hinduism’s claim to being Monotheistic:
Like Christianity, Hinduism is Not Monotheistic however the Scriptures they Claim to follow is Monotheistic and calls you to Islaam.
Bagvad Geeta 7:20
“Those who’s intelligence has been stolen by material desires surrender unto demigods and follow the particular rules and regulations of worship according to their own natures.”
This clearly states that materialistic people worship demigods i.e. things created out of their own desired hand for worship e.g. Man made Idols besides the True Creator and Lord of the Worlds.
Upanishdas:
“He is One only without a second.” (Chandogya 6:2:1)
“Of Him there are neither partners nor Lord.” (Svetsvatara 6:9)
“There is no likness of Him.” (Svetsvatara 4:19)
“His form is not to be seen; no one sees Him with the eye.” (Svetsvatara 4:20)
The Vedas:
“There is no Image of Him.” (Yajurveda 32:3)
“He is bodiless and pure.” (Yajurveda 40:8)
“They enter darkness, those who worship the natural elements (Air, Water, Fire etc…) “They sink deeper in darkness, those who sambhuti (Idols, man made things)” (Yajurveda 40:9)
Compare this to the Almighty Allah of Islaam and what He says about Himself in the Holy Quran:
Surah 112. Al-Ikhlas
1. Say: He is Allah, the One!
2. Allah, the eternally Besought of all!
3. He begetteth not nor was begotten.
4. And there is none comparable unto Him.
The Vedas further stand in line with Allah of Islaam see the following and compare to the Quran:
“Lead us to the good path and remove the sin that makes us stray and wander.” (Yajurveda 40:16) is in line with verses 5 & 6 of Surah 1 in the Holy Quran
“O friends, do not worship anything but Him, the Divine One. Praise Him Alone.” (Rigveda: 8:1:1) is in line with verse 1 of Surah 1 of the Holy Quran
The above verses stand perfectly in line with the Surah 1:1-6-7 of Al-Quran
Surah 1, THE OPENING
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
1. All Praise be to Allah alone, Lord of the Worlds,
2. The Beneficent, the Merciful.
3. Owner of the Day of Judgment,
4. Thee (alone) we worship; Thee alone we ask for help.
5. Show us the straight path,
6. The path of those whom Thou hast favoured; Not (the path) of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who astray.
“Verily great is the glory of the Divine Creator.” (Rigveda 5:1:81)
Note: See how all the Scriptures is one Word (Message) calling mankind to the “Creator”, no where do you find the Scriptures calling mankind to many creators because there is ONLY ONE CREATOR who is the Sole Owner of all the Most High, Most Holy and Most Beautiful Names, (Attributes/ Titles) Islaam means: Total submission to the will of Allah. And Allah is the Only True Lord, there is None worthy of Worship but Him and Mohammed is His Final Messenger.
The Hindu Sctriptures are Monotheistic but Hinduism is Not
